Hey everyone! I've been thinking about diving more into poker on Stake, but I wanted to hear from the community first.

Is it really worth playing poker here? How’s the competition, the rake, and overall experience compared to other platforms? Do any of you actually turn a profit, or is it more for the fun and thrill?

Would love to hear your thoughts, tips, or even honest warnings. Let’s keep it real! 🃏💬

Not at the moment. Stake currently only offers 5 player and 8 player tables, which are highly nonstandard formats. The absence of 6 max tables, which are the most commonly played online, is a major competitive disadvantage. If you choose to play on 5 player tables, they rarely fill up. Most of the time, you’ll be lucky to get three other players. In their current state, 5-player tables are essentially unplayable. Additionally, the new table selection system is poorly designed. There is no option to manually choose tables, and you're often seated at nearly empty ones, which makes the overall experience frustrating and inefficient.

Only that ranking board updates like in ages, have to constantly refresh it to see the updated rank.

Rest of the things are cool, I like playing poker here.

At current state probably no, it needs more wider recognition by player sponsoring, doing more tournaments (freerolls) and it might get there in time

I find with these tournaments they are drumming up more players! Well worth playing these ones. Not sure about playing on regular tables. Haven’t played them yet. But plan to
