I usually stick to medium to get my balance up, alternating between 3 and 4 tiles. When I feel like I have a balance to play around with around 15-20 (im a very low stakes better... usually) I'll switch to high/4 tiles. If I find my self all of a sudden uncomfortably close to rinsing, i stay high but tap auto pick and fill the rest of the tiles. Normally when I do that, i get some really satisfying relief wins. I've definitely had much better luck going for consecutive medium size multis rather than chasing the crazy 1000x's and such.

It's really not worth it to try to go for the next level artificially. You should just play your normal games and when you get there, you get there. Here's the math: You need 500k wagered to get from gold to plat 1. You're 29% of the way there. That means u need about 106,500.00$ wager to get there. The absolute lowest house edge game has a 1% edge. Which means that you need to LOSE $1065.50 to get to plat 1 from where you are now. Now, that's EV loss obviously but that's what counts. The only "safe" way to assure you'll get to plat 1 is to play in a way where you lose essentially exactly that amount, because any other way you could potentially lose far more (or, of course, potentially lose less/profit). So the only good strat would be to deposit $1065.50, go to dice, bet 2x on $1, auto play for 106550 rolls and go take a nap. Once you bust your deposit you should have enough rakeback to get you the rest of the way there. You'll get a $500 bonus, plus some small % lossback probably totalling another few hundred, give or take, plus a small reload for a couple of weeks. I think it's pretty generous as is. Don't get me wrong, I'm always gonna want more free money, but if we're comparing stakes' level 1 vip reward to everyone elses, they certainly seem to give more than most. Thats not even including all the other vip benefits aside from the initial bonus. Now, that being said, i could easily see someone making a proper case regarding reward-increases for reaching bronze. It would further incentivize newer users to vie for making it to vip 1- Further nurturing engagement and user exclusivity.
