Hi everyone.
I registered on stake sometime in 2018 and I finally got to make a Forum account. (and yes, I have seen the old, closed post. no, it does not help)
On multiple occasions there have been performance issues for me like stuttering and things loading very slowly. Especially when I play dice, my fav game.
I have lost money in the past twice due to balance display/update bugs. Went to support, they said they checked the server and the issue is with me betting to quickly. Seems to be the standard answer, even though I would advise to check server request time-outs. Or change the speed of the auto-bet of dice. It happened at least 5 times from back then. 2x on mobile (I use Safari and Brave mostly but cannot recommend the mobile experience due to less reliability of a mobile connection and reduced stability & performance), 3-4x on not just one but multiple different PCs. If I remember correctly it is live stats and balance that kind of just freezes just to shock you with "not enough balance" even though you see numbers. Good UX doesn't put the responsibility on the users, especially when they play the games the way they got designed & coded. And before anyone says it, it is not user-friendly to have to reset cache/cookies and restart the browser multiple times per hour.
Maybe the poll helps with finding a solution. It has been a while since I last experienced the issue, but I can check if I can recreate it when I deposit again.
Ever since I became aware of that I lack the confidence in interacting with dice the same way I used to. Same goes for support. If this has been addressed and fixed in the time I was taking a break from Stake then I am glad, there just was nothing except for 1 post coming up while searching. I am curious about everyone else's experiences.
edit: Forum search has a time-out of 24+ seconds? Not very convenient when you just have to correct a typo. (does that have implications for rate-limiting and time-outs?)
