  4. A lone island sits at the edge of the world, crowned by a colossal living dungeon that twists and reshapes itself like a dreaming beast. Adventurers from every continent sail there chasing the promise of the Golden City said to lie at its heart, a treasure so great it can rewrite fate itself. But the dungeon is alive—its monsters are born from ancient magic, its floors shift like tides, and its traps reset as if the place is thinking. On the surface, bustling camps and markets cling to the island’s shores, filled with mercenaries, scholars, cooks, and treasure‑hunters. Deeper inside, the dungeon becomes a world of its own: forests growing under stone ceilings, underground seas lit by glowing fungi, ruins of civilizations swallowed long ago. Every creature, from slimes to dragons, follows its own strange ecology, feeding on magic and each other in a cycle older than memory. Most adventurers survive by hauling food from the surface. But a few—like Laios and his companions—learn to cook the dungeon itself, turning monsters into meals to fuel their descent. In this world, survival isn’t just about strength or skill; it’s about understanding the dungeon’s rhythms, respecting its creatures, and finding wonder in the strange and the dangerous. And at the center of it all, the dungeon waits—alive, hungry, and full of secrets.

  12. Heey lovely degens, Next to gambling I enjou a couple of different things. One of these things is learning about different countries and what their cultural dishes are Basically I'm a big fan of food❤️ So I would like to start a topic on the Forum called Cooking recipes As on stake there are more nationalities than i could count on one hand (maybe even two never learned to count further than 5) I would like to ask you, the food lover to post your favourite dish from your own country with the recipe. In this way we can learn from eachother and enjoy indirectly eachothers favourite dishes. The more people will join in the more recipes we get and foods we can try. This could be a very extensive post where a lot of people join in. Even if you are from the same country not everyones national dish is THEIR favourite national dish. So please I invite you all to post your recipes with food and maybe a finshed picture. RANDOM ADHD thought🤣 maybe MAAAAAAYBE we can get Eddie so crazy that he could turn it into a stake gambling cooking book. A Cookbook By DEGENfoodlover For FOODloverdegens. This would be a fun Christmass gift 🫡 and a nice merchandise item for stake Well anyways i talked enough about everything Let me kick off with the first recipe Pierogi Dough For 40 pierogi: 300 g wheat flour 20 g butter 1 egg a pinch of salt 125 ml boiling water Pierogi dough – recipe Sift the flour into a bowl and add salt. Put the butter into the boiling water so it melts, then gradually pour it into the flour. Mix everything with a spoon. Add the egg, combine all ingredients, and knead until the dough is smooth. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 9 minutes. Wrap it in plastic wrap and set aside for about 30 minutes. Divide the dough into four parts, then roll each one out into a thin sheet, dusting the table with flour as needed. Cut out circles—ideally using a small glass—and place a heaping spoonful of filling in the center of each. Fold the dough in half and seal the edges carefully. Filling Ingredients 500 g beef 1 leek 1 parsley root 1 onion 1 bread roll 1 carrot 2 bay leaves 2 black peppercorns 1/4 celery root 1/4 stick of butter 3 allspice berries Dough Ingredients 500 g wheat flour 2 tablespoons oil salt 300 ml warm boiled water Filling preparation Place the meat in a pot and cover with about 1.5 liters of water. Add the soup vegetables and cook for 30 minutes. During cooking, add the bay leaves, peppercorns, and allspice, and cook for another 30 minutes. Soak the bread roll in boiled water. Dice the onion and fry it in butter until golden. Grind the meat together with the soaked bread roll, then add the onion. Season with salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Dough preparation Prepare the pierogi dough. Put the flour into a bowl, then add the oil and salt. Add the water gradually so all ingredients combine. Knead the dough until smooth. Divide the dough into two parts and roll each one out into a very thin sheet. Use a glass to cut out circles. Place the filling in the center of each circle and carefully seal the edges. Cooking the pierogi Drop the pierogi into boiling salted water with a tablespoon of oil. After they float to the surface, cook them for another three minutes. Pierogi are best served with onion sautéed in butter. Some people also add crispy bacon bits. Enjoy my favourite Polish food
