Hey everyone 👋
I’ve gotten really into podcasts this year. I used to just put them on as background noise, but now I actually use them as a way to learn and challenge myself a bit. Some episodes hit you with ideas you can’t un-hear.
1. 🧠 Episode that made me rethink something:
There was an episode about how most of us don’t have a time management problem, we have a self-story problem. Basically, we procrastinate because we don’t believe we’re the type of person who sticks to things — so we act according to that story.
That punched me in the face (in a good way). Since then, instead of waiting to “feel motivated,” I try to act like the person I want to be — even if I don’t feel like it.
2. 📚 Why I listen:
Both — knowledge and entertainment.
Sometimes I want to learn about psychology or personal development. Other times I just want to hear a smart conversation between curious people and laugh along the way.
3. 🔎 Hidden gem podcast:
If you like deep conversations but without the “pretend to be smart” vibe — check out Diary of a CEO. The episodes about self-discipline and emotional baggage are brutally honest.
For quick motivation, I also like The Mindset Mentor — short episodes, straight to the point.
Hey! Yes — the episode I was talking about was from Diary of a CEO (Chris Williamson).
The guest was talking about how procrastination isn’t a time-management issue but a self-identity/story issue. That part really stuck with me.
If I find the exact episode number, I’ll drop it here too.
