Thanks everyone. To answer your questions. I prefer to paint with acrylic paints. I mix it with a liquid called gac 900 if I'm painting on clothing like jackets.
I started drawing when I was young with pencils. Everyone starts with stick figures. And my first paintings 8 years ago looked like children's work. It just takes practice and not being afraid to fail and learn something.
An artwork is never really done. It just gets to a point where your comfortable walking away from it to start something new. Every new piece teaches you things and reminds you why you stopped doing something some way or another. Don't judge yourself from the process or the finished product because it's all energy you can use on the next project.
