If you want to use Baccarat to wager, bet on both the banker and the player. If banker wins, you only lose 5% of your bet. If player wins, you push (because betting on player's side has 2x). If it is a tie, you also get a push. Using that math, you would see that you won't actually lose faster than betting 1.0102x because most of the time you are just losing 5% of your basebet and not 1 whole bet.

No this is not possible. You will succumb in losing (without any chance of trying to breakeven in the long run). I would recommend flat betting using dice instead or Plinko (ideal for negating the variance of having a percentage chance of winning per drop).
