The family snuggled by the cozy fireplace, blankets pulled tight, with hot cocoa in hand and the Christmas tree glowing bright.
Dad opened the storybook and read in a warm, gentle voice: “The stockings were hung... the reindeer took flight...”
The kids listened wide-eyed as Santa filled the stockings with care, then dashed away with a jolly “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
The fire crackled softly as everyone smiled, hearts full of wonder. Tomorrow, magic would come.
