Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring… except me on the couch.
The stockings were hung with extremely low hope,
As I refreshed Stake again whispering please don't let me down.
The fireplace crackled, my balance did not,
One spin from redemption… or straight to the plot.
When visions of reindeers danced in their beds,
I was yelling ‘IT’S DUE!’ at pixels instead.
Santa flew by like ‘girl, log off, go to sleep,’
But Stake said ‘one more’ and I fell for the creep.
So here I sit broke, but festive—cheers mate,
