In a small village, winter came with soft snow and cold winds. People were busy buying gifts and decorating their houses. But at the edge of the village lived a poor little boy named Aarav. He had no Christmas tree, no gifts, and no sweets—only a small lantern his mother had given him.
On Christmas Eve, a strong storm arrived. The lights in the village went out one by one. People were scared and stayed inside their homes.
Aarav saw the darkness and felt sad. He lit his small lantern and walked through the snowy streets. Wherever he went, the little light showed the way. Neighbors opened their doors and followed him. Soon, many people came out holding candles and lamps.
Together, they filled the village with light again.
An old man said, “This is the real spirit of Christmas—not gifts, but kindness and sharing light.”
The villagers invited Aarav inside. They shared food, laughter, and warmth. For the first time, Aarav felt rich—not with money, but with love.
And that night, everyone learned that even the smallest light can brighten the darkest Christmas.
