So, first off let me say when i gamble, i only gamble money i can afford to lose, and very small amounts here and there. Mostly i do online survys and have them pay me directly to my stake account, which is sweet. I have also had some sweet wins during my time on stake, so no hard feelings there...
However....
I've done my fair share of testing different strategies/tactics to play the most profitable game as possible, and not least most effective, and they're usually good at it, sometimes, if the RNG will let me, that is. So i put this in dice since it definitely applies in the same way to dice as it does to any other of the stake originals, so here is my observations and hence my issues..
You talk about "fair play", so i get it you have so and so amount of edge to the house etc. and you are obliged to keep it at a certain level statistically, and that is exactly where the issue emerges, because there is apparently a HUUUUGE loophole in the "fair play". So let's walk through a hypothetical game session at, well, since we're in dice, lets do dice...
1. so let's say we start off with a 2 USDC balance, the minimum bet amount is 0.00010500, which is the bet amount we will start with. Obviously we're running autobets, with advanced settings "on every loss raise bet amount by = 40%"
2. so let's aim for a 4x multiplier on this one with our chosen range
So what most often happens is that yeah your balance might skyrocket at first, like normally there's no issue in making a easy buck or two even three from a 2 usdc base balance, so say we grow our balance to 5 usdc in a couple hundred casts of the dice, let's say 500 casts.
So this is usually where the issue emerges which is this: the way i see it, you give periods of decent wins, and when you're doing pretty good, you get the feeling this can run a while longer no problem, but that is where the loophole is applied.. You BOMB like a whole lotta losses one after the other and i've seens some baaaad bombings, like they should be practically IMPOSSIBLE with a 4x odds, you know ?
So, how is this even allowed ? i feel like a mugging victim after such incidents, like i truly feel stripped of my whole faith in humanity. I dunno what else to say, but i just wanted to get it out there.
And hear what other people might think about this subject, and yeah experiences.
In my opinion, doing it like this is as far from fair play as you can get, and it seems like the computer is intentionally selective on how to spread out the wins and losses in favor of the casino, all while keeping a , i dunno, just as an example let's say 98/2 % edge and rtp and all that jazz, and when they screen it from time to time, it looks even, statistically... so if we eg. say you had 1 million casts in a period of one week all that seems good on paper, but if you everytime decide to bomb and "even out the statistics" like completely hardcore on sunday evening, alotta people are gonna get hurt BAD from that...
EDIT: i am not gonna quit gambling here because of this, so that is clear, it's good fun, but so frustrating you know...
