1. What is your Stake username?
Goatsahil
2. How much time on average do you spend on chat every day?
I spend approximately 6–9 hours daily on chat. My activity is consistent throughout the day, and I can adjust my schedule based on peak hours to ensure better coverage.
3. Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is?
A moderator’s role goes beyond enforcing rules — it’s about maintaining a balanced, safe, and engaging environment for all users. This includes monitoring chat for spam, scams, toxicity, and rule violations, while also assisting users, guiding new members, and de-escalating conflicts calmly. A good moderator acts fairly, avoids bias, and ensures the chat remains active, respectful, and aligned with platform guidelines.
4. Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat?
I want to become a moderator because I’m genuinely invested in the Stake community and spend a significant amount of time in chat. I’ve seen how important good moderation is in maintaining a positive environment, especially during high activity periods. I believe I can contribute by keeping the chat organized, helping users efficiently, and representing the Indian community in a professional and responsible way.
5. Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned?
Yes, I was muted a few times earlier when I was still learning the rules. Since then, I’ve taken the time to fully understand the guidelines and have improved my behavior significantly. That experience has actually helped me better understand common mistakes users make, allowing me to guide others more effectively.
6. Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform?
Yes, I have prior experience as a moderator on a Discord server for a Dota 2 community. My responsibilities included handling spam, resolving user conflicts, enforcing rules consistently, and supporting community engagement. This experience taught me how to stay calm under pressure and make fair decisions.
7. Are you prepared to work at nighttime?
Yes, I am fully comfortable working nighttime shifts and understand the importance of moderation during late hours when supervision is often limited.
