How much time on average do you spend on chat every day?
On average, I spend around 6–10 hours on Stake every day. I'm an active community member and regularly participate in chat while gaming, so I'm familiar with the chat environment and the community.
Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is?
A moderator's responsibility is to maintain a friendly, respectful, and welcoming chat environment. This includes enforcing the chat rules fairly, preventing spam, harassment, scams, and inappropriate behavior, assisting users with general questions, de-escalating conflicts, and ensuring everyone has a positive experience. A moderator should always remain professional, unbiased, and lead by example.
Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat?
I've been an active member of the Stake community for a long time, and I'd like to contribute more than just participating in chat. I enjoy helping people, answering questions, and creating a positive atmosphere. Becoming a moderator would give me the opportunity to support the community, ensure the chat remains enjoyable for everyone, and represent Stake in a professional manner.
Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned?
Yes, I have been muted twice. The first mute was when I was new to Stake and hadn't read the chat rules carefully enough. The second mute happened because of the chat jumping that violated the rules. I accepted both mutes, learned from them, and made sure to understand the chat guidelines thoroughly.
Since then, I've been much more mindful of how I interact in chat and have consistently followed the rules. Those experiences taught me the importance of fair moderation and why chat guidelines should be applied consistently to everyone.
Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform?
Yes. I have moderation experience on both Discord and Telegram, where I helped manage communities, answered members' questions, enforced community rules, handled spam and inappropriate behavior, and maintained a friendly and respectful environment. This experience has taught me how to stay calm, be fair and unbiased, resolve conflicts professionally, and communicate effectively with community members.
Are you prepared to work at nighttime?
Yes. I understand that moderation requires coverage across different time zones, and I'm comfortable working night shifts when needed. I'm flexible with my schedule and committed to fulfilling the responsibilities of the role. @NatasaC
