I think another part that contributes to this is that many slots have a much higher max win than previous slots. While this is great when the max win hits, it also means a lot more dead spins and a lot more down sessions.

No max wins yet, but eventually it will happen! I've seen a couple streamers hit a max win live. Wittlebears was my first on Flight Mode. I think it was 15 or 20 minutes of clicking yes for extra spins on Flight Mode. It was quite the roller coaster!

I've had dry spells and I've had lucky streaks, that's the nature of gambling. There are no guarantees in gambling other than we're all going to lose over the long run if we play long enough.
