Loyalty Shouldn’t Be Penalized
Hi everyone and Stake Team,I wanted to open a discussion regarding the current VIP progression and reward scaling between Platinum 5 and Platinum 6.
When you look at the numbers, there is a clear inconsistency in how VIP progression rewards loyal players:
Platinum 5 Requirement: $5,000,000 wagered $ Total Base Level-Up Reward: ~$6,400
Platinum 6 Requirement: $15,000,000 wagered (+$10,000,000 additional wager) Total Base Level-Up Reward: ~$12,800
The Core Issue
Increased Wager vs. Reward Scaling:
Reaching Platinum 6 requires 3x the total wager of Platinum 5 (an additional $10M wager), yet the level-up reward only doubles (2x).
Diminishing Returns on Loyalty:
As players advance higher in the VIP program, the difficulty increases exponentially. Instead of being rewarded more for staying loyal and grinding through the higher tiers, players effectively face diminishing returns on their wager amount per dollar rewarded.
Why This Feels Unfair
The higher you go, the harder it is to maintain balance and sustain play. A VIP system should incentivize and reward long-term loyalty, not make high-tier progression feel mathematically unrewarding compared to lower ranks
If the wager requirement increases by 3x, the reward structure should reflect that added effort and risk—or at least offer better scaling for the extra $10,000,000 wagered.
I believe the Stake team should review the VIP reward scaling for Platinum 6 and above to ensure that player loyalty is genuinely rewarded, rather than penalized with reduced reward-to-wager ratios.
Would love to hear the community’s thoughts on this!
