One piece of news that isn't good for the gaming world is that, starting in 2028, Sony, the company behind PlayStation, will reportedly stop selling physical copies of games. That would be bad news for stores that rely on physical game sales, as well as for gamers, who would be forced to buy expensive digital versions instead. In my opinion, that would take away much of the charm and value of physical games, which often came with manuals or other extras inside the box. That experience would be lost, while the games would likely remain just as expensive.
