Watching a random group stage match between two teams I have zero connection to still gets me more hyped than most league finals. The stakes just feel so much heavier when a whole country is holding its breath with every pass.

I watched France struggle to break down a low block against Tunisia already so I think if Morocco sits deep and hits on the break they could really caues problems. Their speed out wide gave Belgium nightmares earlier in the group stage and France’s fullbacks are not exactly world class defenders.

I find it usually comes down to how much the away side wilts under pressure rather than anything magical about the home team. if the visitors' shape just dissolves in the second half, the home goals feel almost accidental. -
