Mississippi Grind has this really sun bleached road trip energy where the gambling almost feels secondary to the friendship falling apart, definitely a different pace for a Sunday watch. -
I threw a tiny bet on Morocco just for the storyline after my frined who never watches football begged me to tail his “vibes only” pick. I already know Mbappe is gonna make me regret it in the first 10 minutes though.

haha yeah without knowing which match i just flip a coin and pray, works about half the time honestly. been burned too many times by the so called safe pick that i started going with my gut more and it stings less when it flops.

I still remember sprinting home from school in 2014 to catch that Brazil vs Germany semifinal, still the wildest 90 minutes I have ever witnessed. -
I remember watching Messi’s goal against Nigeria in 2018 and my friend said “that’s gonna age well” and yeah here we are with him still topping charts. Mbappe gets those tight angle shots so we might see some drama, gonna be fun either way

Severance had no business being as gripping as it was, the whole corporate amnesia concept sounded gimmicky but Ben Stiller’s direction turned it into a legit mind bender. If you want something that makes you stare at the credits in silence, this one’s a gem.
