Always check the ref's style first, some let everything go and some blow the whistle if you breathe wrong.

Hard to look past Messi, he still controls the tempo like nobody else. I do think Hany Mukhtar deserves a mention though, his consistency in front of goal has been insane for a few seasons now.

I watched that match in a packed pub and even the diehard champs fans were clapping when Egypt scored, you could feel the whole room shift. It's just rare to see an underdog play that clean and still push so hard without any drama.
