I still remember my budyd calling me at 3am during the last final, screaming his lungs out when Mbappe scored that volley. France just has a way of delivering those moments that pay off the sleep deprivation.

I remember watching the 2018 final at a pub and the second the whistle blew nobody talked about the Macron photo ops, just Mbappe sprinting past defenders like they were cones. That pure football chaos is exactly what I am hoping for again this time.
