Honestly Mbappe vs Messi debates are kinda overdone but seeing Mbappe carry France at the highest level hits different compared to Messi dragging Argentina through chaos. France just feels more balanced and exciting to watch rigt now.

I get why people say it but for me the longevity and dominance in multiple leagues puts Ronaldo just slightly ahead. He proved himself everywhere while Messi stayed in his comfort zone for so long.
