Honestly I dont think a ladder is always the best play heads up, sometimes you just bleed chips waiting for the perfect board texture. Ive had more luck just jamming with a strong draw and letting the other guy fold his marginal pair. -
I just sit there and fold for what feels like an hour then suddenly someone pays me off with second pair like they forgot I existed.
