A Light Beyond Belief
I do not celebrate Christmas,
My faith walks a different way,
Yet kindness knocked upon my door
On a gentle December day.
My neighbor’s house glowed warm and bright,
With candles, laughter, and a tree,
He welcomed me with open arms,
Respectful of my belief.
I did not sing their sacred songs,
Nor bow in festive prayer,
But we shared smiles, stories, and tea,
A moment pure and fair.
In that soft glow of Christmas light,
I learned a truth so clear to see:
Faith may differ, paths may part,
But love speaks one humanity.
