Big mistake. A friend of mine one put €500 on a credit card when drunk. He lost and needed the cash, so he deposited again. And again. And again. After a couple of weeks, he had maxed out his credit card (about €10k) and then took a loan to pay it off. I was actually supportive at the time, as the loan meant he could clear debts, pay less interest, etc., But then I learned that he took twice as much as he needed just so he could gamble the rest. He's an extreme case as I've had problems myself, but it's a very slippery slope and I wouldn't recommend taking that first step.
