Hehe, it means community. I freaking love some amazing people I've met here. Especially some users and moderators who've turned into meaningful connections. As for gambling, it means possibility of a potential maxwin that would pay off everything or result in endless wager lol. Although, it can be stressful, gambling especially. It's not always a maxwin, sometimes it's absorbing losses for months in a row and dealing with challenging emotions. It's risking your savings and mental health. It's thrill, it's a risk, but it's also a reward. Sometimes a very sweet one, like @ubbey04 would say, icecream, haha. There are endless casinos out there, but people make the place, the users, moderators and support staff and vip hosts, or even streamers bringing together a community. Not to mention it also has the best instant mode with animations off lol. It's a lot of things. It's wen wen wen wen, only to lose it in a few seconds. It's skem when you're frustated, but a sweet release when it finally pays. There are a lot of disappointing things, but let's keep the glass half full for now and not give negative things attention.

I think it's important to recognise the backbone of a smoothly working society. Roads and infrastructure aren't built on architecture and engineering alone, it's hardwork of hundreds or more workers working through the heat, the long exhausting hours, very little protection or inspection, for minimal wages. This day itself comes from workers who had to fight for basic rights like fair wages, safer conditions, and reasonable working hours, things that weren’t simply given. During COVID, when factories were suddenly shut, millions of migrant workers lost their source of income and had to travel back to their villages here, i believe many had to walk miles initially when the transport was shut. While we also had essential workers working in many areas, especially hospitals risking their lives to save lives. It really shows you that while you and I could sit locked away in the comfort of our homes, there were essential workers putting in effort and risk each day. Every day we benefit from convenience, whether it's good infrastructure or cleanliness or anything that comes at the cost of someone invisibly working for it. We look at it as ordinary, when infact it's the backbone, that so much of the convenience we simply live off of comes from the hardwork from the working class. And that's why it's important to not only recognise their efforts, but also support rights and movements, and recognise this day as historically important. Damn long 🤦🏻♀️but I guess that's pretty much it. Happy labour day. ❤️

What’s the first thing you’re buying when you hit your target?

I'm not very materialistic. Possessions are difficult to maintain and keep up with unless you're 100% sure so I don't know, although i love it for people who are passionate about certain things, so if I'm rich enough, I'll be gifting someone their dream bike. As for myself, i would invest in a better life experience, buy plane tickets to go visit some of the best people I know. Hahahahah, also some things are that not very funny, but they're important, but I don't wanna mention it here. Other than that, if I'm extremelyyyy filthy rich from gambling, i would pay off debts of people closest to me so they can be at ease with their responsibilities. I've known some people who've gotten filthy rich, like a hundred thousands to a milly but lost it all back, but i also think people who continue to play to get there, already are on their path to lose it. So, i don't know, whenever it happens, i would like it to be one lucky win. Like maxwin on a decent bet size, rather than profit from heavy gambling that would last a week. -
I love fruit based icecream more lately. Strawberry and Mango being on top. Also Custard Apple, and coconut. Although i occasionally do love some chocolate indulgence, but i must admit there are endless amazing options to choose from. 🍓🥭 Found a picture of Tender coconut single scoop from Naturals. 🥥

I'm gonna steal that ring from right under your nose...ahem, off your finger one day, i love it so much. -
Somewhere far from crowds, concrete, and traffic, held together by nothing but nature. Quiet, open, almost untouched. Just enough people and animals to sustain you, and nothing more. I would probably just lay down in the grass and hear the birds chirping, while maybe reading a book or writing some poems, with hydration and packed food that doesn't disrupt any wildlife or nature. I would love carry something to eat for squirrels. If it's after sunset, i wouldn't prefer to be in such a place for my own safety, but maybe a car drive to a hill overlooking the city with some drinks and music. I would prefer to be in the car though. Sunsets going into dark are beautiful for such outings. Not sure if it all qualifies as a picnic. Google says picnic is a meal you take to the outdoors, i guess I'm the snack and the whole damn meal then, because I definitely haven't done picnics where i intentionally carried food to eat it outside hahahahah 😂 Well, in retrospect, i remember college days, during breaks, i used to take my snacks and food to this part of the campus where it was trees and a pond. Not a one day picnic, but i liked eating my food there, just observing little things.

I’m focusing on simplifying my life, being more mindful about what and who I allow in, and building a quieter, more peaceful routine.

📱What is a small purchase that significantly improved your life? 💻

My monthly Spotify premium subscription keeps me sane, and maybe the shoes i got recently that are just comfortable. Not high branded or flashy, just black and comfortable i love slipping into for walks. -
I think there are many things besides smartphones that are inventions in themselves, but most of them would be incomplete without it. Smartphones make these experiences mobile, you can move around from place to place with the world still at your fingertips. I can't recall anything that I cannot access on the phone. They also make everything accessible and bring in both comfort and safety. They serve as the platform where every train lands, sure I can access it from my computer as well, but the mobility beats any other comfort. I think it's the sweetest saddest experience humanity has ever tasted as it also is something that keeps us connected yet disconnected from our surroundings. But it's also something that's inbuilt in our system at this point, it's part of our daily life. All what you can do is embrace the pleasures it brings us. I wouldn't have known so much music or art or movies or people from different parts of the world if it wasn't for the internet or the smartphone. I'm grateful for all the amazing experiences it has given me. I just love enjoying everything on my phone rather than anyplace else. But then again, I don't know my life without it, so how do you know if it has redefined your normal if it's just something that has always been a normal part of your life? Haha, something to think about. I think it's just our normal at this point. More like it defined it, than redefining it.

Chivalry shouldn’t be dead, but as a woman, I’ll always offer to pay, and anyone who splits on the first date is not a romantic. Dates should be about romance, not bills. That being said, there should be a mutual understanding in what is affordable to both.

I think this is a really interesting question. I would personally love to do both for very different reasons. All through my adult life, I've enjoyed music from a time a I wasn't born in, and it would be a great thing to go back in the past and witness how that music naturally unfolded, watch my favourite bands live, and live in the rock and roll era which doesn't exist anymore. It has always fascinated me how cool everything looked before the digital age, so going back in the past would mean, enriching the experience in real time, rather than vicariously experiencing it in emotion, nostalgia or memory. The cassette, film camera generation, hahahhaha, and how everyone always looked super cool in how they dressed up. People seemed much more alive and not consumed by the internet. So, in general, I would like to experience life before the digital age. As for the future, this is a little more personal, but I wanna witness something in my life that depends a lot on time and circumstances, and know if all the effort that I’m putting into it right now isn’t for nothing. But I’m not entirely sure I would just like that ending to be something I would enjoy, because isn’t the future a sum total of lived experience, and it’s the journey that counts? So maybe it won’t be much of an experience, but it will be sweet to witness that something I put my heart into still exists 40 years from now, hehe. 👀

💛 Her Impact | Voices of Appreciation Event 💰
spaceoddtiddy replied to BratislavK's topic in Past Events
When we talk about strong women, we often celebrate the ones who managed to escape difficult circumstances and build new lives. But strength can take many forms, and I’ve seen it through the lives of women who shaped the way I think about freedom and resilience. THERE ARE MANY. When we celebrate them, we are not only celebrating individuals, but also the strength it takes to live as a woman in a world that often tries to limit that freedom. This is especially visible in the patriarchal society I come from. My grandmother was married as a teenager and lived through domestic abuse at a time when many women had little support and even fewer choices. Her life showed me how limited the world could be for women of her generation, and how much quiet endurance it sometimes took simply to survive. As I grew older, I understood the value of the freedom she never had. Her life inspired me to stand up for women and help build a future where dignity and safety are never negotiable. Because of that, I feel deeply protective of the women and girls in my life. There is another woman who influenced me in a different way. She is no longer in my life, but we spent time together when we were both twenty-year-old college students trying to figure ourselves out. I remember sitting in her room, where the walls were filled with references to the things she loved. Pink Floyd, John Mayer, The Lumineers, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Fleabag, books and more. I always enjoyed her company. I watched her push through a college degree she did not want and take a job she did not enjoy, all to keep up with her family’s expectations. They were high achievers who wanted to shape her path for her. But despite that, I saw her quietly work toward something different. Eventually she found the courage to leave and moved to Canada to pursue journalism. Enter *She's Leaving Home by The Beatles, haha* A Federer and tennis fan, I believe she may now work around sports commentary. I am not entirely sure where life took her after that, but I hope she finally found what she was searching for. Both of these women showed me different forms of courage. One endured a life with very few choices, and the other fought to create her own. I appreciate them as women. As for the best woman and person I currently know is, Marie @MCK1234 She's a gentle heart, with so much wit that sometimes I'm jealous that I'm not as funny and easy going as her. She's the woman who is has my heart, and the one i hold no contempt towards, the one who i want in my life forever for how lovely she is. She listens to me endlessly, shows up when needed, and despite looking so hot, she's not dumb hahah, like the stereotype, she cares about real things and issues. Even politics. There are many women who have inspire me, but no one can come as close to loving me as she has. I love you so much hahahaha. Thank you for finally showing me that i could actually be best friends with a woman. 🐒🥄🪥❤️ Username: spaceoddtiddy -
I love this topic. Whoever inspired you to make this topic has to be a genius, hahahahahah. Just kidding! I'm INFP, and I quite relate to the personality type. It beautifully captures my chaotic little inner world. My favourite part is; "INFPs are known for their sensitivity – these personalities can have profound emotional responses to music, art, nature, and the people around them." It's most true to me, and anyone who knows me, knows how much i bubble up when i come across something that moves me. There's so much more, but all in all, yes i largely relate to it. So I don’t think MBTI is useless, but I also don’t think it should be treated as a fixed identity or hard science. It’s more of a framework for reflection than a "psychological" truth.

I don’t have plans with anyone, nor am I aware of any plans someone else has for me, but romantically, just seeing the person I’m in love with would be enough to get me through the day. Love is not an act, it's not something you do, love is something that happens to you when you least expect it. It's not grand gestures, it's the little things. And we all make choices and have our limitations, and fail miserably, but as long as we can look back and repair the damage, it's still love. Love is a feeling. Which isn't enough sometimes, but that's just what it is. My valentine's day will be riddled in longing, and that's the price you pay for having caught yourself up in something as romantic as love. You know you're in love when even as the fairy tale ends, the love remains.
