Every cryptocurrency operates on its own network, and each one is different. Successfully sending one currency to another would not be possible precisely because of the differences in networks and protocols. It is impossible to merge two different currencies into one. Crypto exchanges do not function the same way as fiat currency exchanges. Additionally, sending even one cent would be possible only if the network fee is paid, which would be dozens of times higher than the amount being exchanged. Simply put, cryptocurrencies do not work the same way as fiat currencies. P.S.
