I spend the vast majority of my day at my computer due to my remote work lifestyle. This allows me to remain consistently active on the platform, spending an average of 12 to 15 hours daily in the chat during both daytime and late-night hours.
Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is?
A moderator’s primary duty is to protect the chat from abuse while fostering a friendly, vibrant environment where users can socialize freely within the rules. This role focuses heavily on Strict Rule Enforcement and Community Improvement:
Strict Rule Enforcement: Consistently applying Stake’s ToS by proactively preventing spam, abuse, racism, begging, and unauthorized promotions, while utilizing warnings and mutes fairly and without bias.
Community Improvement: De-escalating conflicts to maintain a respectful tone, welcoming and guiding new users, and actively transforming the Turkish chat into a high-quality, positive, and engaging hub for the entire community.

Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat?
I genuinely enjoy engaging with the Stake community and want to contribute to its growth in a fair, mature, and professional way. Professionally, I work remotely as a Helpdesk Specialist for Turkcell, Turkey's largest telecommunications company, where I manage a shifting workforce of 150 field personnel. I am also highly proficient in web design, artificial intelligence tools, and Office programs, which gives me strong technical and problem-solving skills. I want to bring this corporate experience to Stake to support the existing mod team during peak hours, significantly reduce toxicity, and implement constructive communication. If selected, I will reduce my personal gambling activity to focus entirely on maintaining a safe, fair, and welcoming chat environment.
Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned?
Yes, in the past, I received a brief mute. It happened due to a momentary outburst of frustration, heavily influenced by the temporary psychological stress that gambling can sometimes cause. However, I am normally a very calm and rational person. That experience was a turning point for me; it taught me the absolute importance of emotional control, adherence to platform boundaries, and using proper communication channels rather than reacting impulsively.
Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform?
Yes. Years ago, I served as an official moderator for the forum website ref5.net, where I gained hands-on experience in online community management, user engagement, and content moderation. Additionally, my current professional role at Turkcell is entirely centered around remote operations, resolving user/staff escalations, and maintaining structural order under pressure.
Are you prepared to work at nighttime?
Yes, absolutely. Since I already spend most of my time at the computer and have extensive professional experience managing 24/7 shifting schedules, working nighttime hours is part of my natural routine and fits perfectly with my lifestyle.
