In my own words (not copy and pasted): Moderators responsibilities are to monitor online discussions forums and its contents and try to promote positive environment and growth for all users in all topics and regulate any negative feedback in real time while there is freedom of speech there will always be overly bias users expressing themselves online bullying etc should be discouraged and it is a moderator's responsibility to maintain peace within our own community. I was born in Thailand and moved to United States for education where I became fluent and well versed with both languages and understand both cultures and I have been generally positive member of both communities and i can moderate stakes forums with a good attitude. Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned? Never I stay calm under pressure never let my emotions take over. To me that is the same as putting a child on time out or make them go to the corner i don't act out or conduct myself in such a ways where i would need to be treated like that. I'm a night person well suited for this job and I'm professional and passionate at the same time always considerate of different ways things are perceived to different audience which is important especially to maintain fair treatment to users.
