Do you set limits?

I am planning ahead for this week.

I love playing at Stake! But I spend too much time here to continue on without setting limits.

I plan to make a deposit this week - but before I do, I want to set the following:

1) How much to deposit.

2) What is my threshold percentage of balance for bet size. (ex: not more than 10% of balance at any time)

3) At what level of profit do I withdraw, and how much do I retain for playing.

4) What percentage will I reserve for tips to friends.

5) How much time per day on Stake.

Any suggestions along these lines, or share your own strategy?

Deposit less than 100 dollars and spend around 2-3 hours not continously. There other all its according to you. I gave my opinion on two which can help a lot actually.

The withdrawal fees are quite high, so make sure you make a decent profit to cover the withdrawal costs  Good luck

It’s really nice when you set up something before you enter the game, although it’s really up to the player if he/she can control and stop after winning. 

I guess the bottom line is the moment you achieve a winning amount like 10-15% maybe of your deposit then you can withdraw that.

Well the withdrawal fees are quite high on stake but in pd its less now but only thing is PD is a dice only game there is no plinko dice roullete etc so its a bust.

Whenever I sit down to gamble seriously I always have a win target.  Have to have it because it is hard to stop when winning and even harder to stop when losing and if you don't stop, the house wins.  So set a win target.  My bankroll and emotional pain of losing usually do a great job setting a loss target. 😄

For me, i set a certain amount of money i will lose daily.

Once i hit that amount, i will stop gambling that day.

Always setting limit, mostly play few bets, but I know how much I want to make every session.

What I started doing is setting a goal.....and then if/when I meet it, I only withdraw a portion of it so it's out of sight.  

Then I continue on with what i've left in my Stake account.  That way, if I lose, it's ok cause I planned that I might.  And I also have the portion of winnings that I've taken out of the equation.

It actually is! I really truly HATE my goal setting thingy once my 'gambling allowance' is used up for the week. 

But sticking to it.  When i get actual profit, I withdraw to a bitpay card or send to my wallet for keeps. 😎

I would really really love to have a lil stockpile by December! Made out of lots of little teensy profits...

I try not to set limits because personally for myself I am very greedy, so when i get to my limit I will make it higher and higher, I only withdraw when i feel like it really... 75% of the time i bust without withdrawing, because i am dumb hehe

If the goal thing works for you then you have great self control

I usually have a limit of 0.03 btc for every time I gamble. If I loose then I stopped. If I win, I try to make it double.

that is something i need to do... should have done...                          
limit setting...                                              
i wish the site had a option for us to to limit set,                          
to help us deal with out addictions and problem behavior

Well you can do one thing just deposit once in a week and not any more
