Bulgaria owns the second-largest reserve of BTC, behind only Satoshi Nakamoto

When crypto-currency enthusiasts ask the question "Who has the most bitkoyinov", most likely they come to mind countries such as the US or China. Thoughts about Bifinex and Coinbase also do not stand aside.
However, surprisingly, the country with the second largest Bitcoin reserve on the planet is Bulgaria.

The person who owns the largest number of bitcoins is still Satoshi Nakamoto with his assets of 1.1 million bitcoins, worth about 6 billion dollars. Nakamoto does not touch his coins, but the enormous market power that he can have, if he suddenly decides to sell them, is incomprehensible.

Last year, the Bulgarian government withdrew almost 1.3 billion dollars in bitcoins, 213,519 coins, to be precise. The amounts of captured bitcoins turned out to be enough to pay off 25% of Bulgaria's public debt. According to the press, the criminal group that owned the previously withdrawn bitcoins used them to evade taxes.

The Bulgarian government does not divulge its plans for seized coins. In the United States, for example, confiscated crypto-currencies soon go under the hammer at auction. Given the accumulated number of bitcoins in Bulgaria, it is not surprising that the country is the second largest Bitcoin reserve.

To date, no one person or organization can compete with the reserves of Nakamoto and the government of Bulgaria.
