Has winning on slots become so much harder lately?

I remember when i just started on stake few years back, i was hitting 2000x+ on fruit party base game. The bonus buy rtp actually worked usually after few sht buys, they'd get you 300x-800x profit buy but nowadays, I'd go 20 bonus buys and only 2 profit buys that only pays 110-150x so not even 2x profit. Is it just me or anyone else feels the same?
