Venezuelan crypto enthusiast bought more than 100 kg of food for his family and others thanks to the crypto-currency community, after he received donations to NANO from users of Reddit.
According to discussions at the forum, which began just over a week ago, the user of Reddit under the name Windows7733 admitted that the donation of 0.5 NANO (~ $ 1.32), which he recently received, equals a monthly salary in Venezuela. Soon after these words, users of Reddit literally brought down a stream of donations to the Venezuelan.

Windows7733 posted photos on the forum and said that he managed to find traders accepting crypto currency. As a result, the Venezuelan was able to purchase 102 kg of food, spending 29.1 NANO.

"I feel very happy because today I managed to convince someone I trust to take NANO (he already accepted Bitcoin Cash) in exchange for food. He sold me 102 kilograms of products, including corn flour, meat, rice, sugar, beans, sauces and avocado. I'm waiting for a response if I can buy powdered milk and vegetable oil from the same guy. "
Commenting on the messages Windows7733, other Venezuelan users of Reddit said that the situation in the country makes it difficult to use crypto-currencies other than Bitcoin, since it is difficult to find someone who is ready to accept the same NANO.

Crypto-currencies helped the Venezuelans survive the government's failures. The hyperinflation index in the country has recently reached a million mark - one cup of coffee currently costs 1 million bolivar, for comparison a year ago the price was 450 bolivars.

Meanwhile, the Venezuelan government has focused on its oil-protected crypto currency El Petro, whose ICO, according to President Nicolas Maduro, raised $ 5 billion.

Money, most likely, will not be used to help the Venezuelan people, since it was only a way for the government to bypass international sanctions and obtain foreign capital.

It was recently revealed that the government of Venezuela plans to finance the construction of houses for the homeless, using El Petro.

Doesn't like one of the Arab countries hold like the most oil stocks in the whole world ? Or is Venezuela first ?
