Unacceptable Language Discrimination in Indian Chat Rooms

Dear Stake and @Edward @Dan

I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the current language restrictions in the Indian chat rooms, where users are being warned or penalized for speaking in English. India is a diverse, multilingual country with a rich tapestry of languages, and English is widely spoken and understood across the nation. It is disheartening to see that despite this, users are being restricted from communicating in English, even when many moderators themselves use English in their communications and abuse their power as well.

This practice is not only exclusionary but also offensive to those of us who prefer or need to communicate in English. It creates an unwelcoming environment and alienates a significant portion of your loyal customer base. As a long-standing patron of your platform, I expect to feel respected and included, regardless of the language I choose to communicate in and I was muted for using transaltor? wtf is this! Teach your mods to be polite and humble, they themselves are not following the rules.

Suggestion:

I strongly urge you to reconsider and revise this policy. All languages, including English, should be equally allowed in the chat rooms, reflecting the true multilingual nature of India. Furthermore, moderators should be trained to respect users' language preferences and refrain from using their powers to enforce such arbitrary restrictions.

Thank you for taking this matter seriously and for your continued commitment to providing an inclusive and welcoming platform for all.

Regards

King

Indeed, even english is not allowed in Indian chat, I'm from Tamilnadu i speak tamil idk hindi, moderators are saying speak hindi not even english??

Yes, raise your voice people, this feels like a modern-day "divide and rule" tactic, reminiscent of the British colonial era. Your platform, which should be inclusive and welcoming to all, is instead creating divisions among its users based on language. This is unacceptable.

Moreover, the Independence Day bonuses were selectively distributed, and despite my attempts to reach out via email and support, I have received no response. As a loyal and long-standing patron of your company, I expect better. I demand a response and immediate action to rectify this situation. @Edward

Hey just from a normal chatter pov ,Listen I'm from Eastern part of India where Hindi isn't even the main language yet I adapt and follow the rules of the Indian chat.

And whenever I feel like speaking freely in English I head over to the challengers room where their are no language restrictions.

There is a reason why a specific language has been assigned to each country chat ,imagine everyone just starts speaking all the 50+languages in India it'll be a total chaos so , yes either try to adapt and speak like some of us do or don't chat at all :)

Thank you

You can't impose that on India, my friend.

First, they blocked us from the global chat, and now they want everyone to speak only in Hindi? I understand your point about adapting to other languages, but forcing us to communicate in Hindi, while banning English, just doesn’t make sense. India is too diverse for this kind of restriction, and no one should be able to dictate what language we use. If we can't even chat in English, it’s a step too far. :)

That’s really frustrating, man. It’s ridiculous to get muted for something as simple as asking a question in your native language. These strict chat rules just make things more confusing and frustrating for everyone. If they’re going to have promos, they should at least let people talk about them without fear of getting punished. It’s like they’re making it harder for us to enjoy the platform.

Hello everyone,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Only Hindly is allowed in Indian chat, as it had been mentioned multiple times.

Not respecting this rule will result in warning or mute.

Best regards,

Sanja
