stimubate Posted July 20, 2018 #1 Posted July 20, 2018 When you die or are in a near death situation (drowning for example) your brain rapidly searches for a cure for said situation. We learn by memory. Your brain is searching every memory it has in order to save your life as it has never been in this situation before and has to search every last experience/memory, hence the expression 'my life flashed before my eyes' it's your brain doing overtime desperately looking for the answer.
