Having alt accounts - Rules

Hey everyone

I would like to know what the rules on having alt accounts are?

I see many people have alt accounts which they use as "banks" - is this allowed?

Obviously, entering competitions with multiple accounts is not allowed, but what else?

@Dan  @Bojana  Could you perhaps guide me, or create a post giving all users clarity with regards to this subject?

Having an alt in stake is okay since you want to like keep some ledger of the funds you transfer but having an alt in forum is not that acceptable since many people can join the giveaways if alts were allowed on forum.

I see @Kate has already given you some clarification, but let me add some additional info, I'll be happy to help. 

We recommend user to have main account from which he bets/claims faucet and uses it in chat, and a bank, that he/she should use to store funds, just send funds there, not vice versa, not claim faucet from it and not to use in chat, especially not simultaneously with the main account and not while trivia or rain is outgoing, since this can be easily checked and considered an abuse  Whether you will use bank just to store and withdraw funds from it, or to gamble from it too, it is entirely up to you  We recommend setting strong password and 2FA on both of those accounts and not sharing your access data with anyone, especially with some new users that can send you links in PMs or some of them even publicly on chat. So, secure the accounts, please, as much as you can, you have given this option by the site itself, so why not use it?  In case that the user has lost funds, or his account has been compromised, we recommend him/her to make a new account, after he/she has done the PC cleanup and basically, for its own safety, as a matter of precaution. 

Remember that these rules are not written in stone, and many users have much more than 2 accounts (bank and a main), so this is tolerable, as long as any of the abuse mentioned above is not performed. 

As for the Forum - ONE ACCOUNT PER USER! Connect the forum account with the account you are using on chat, usually the main, the one that participates in giveaways. We have a strong system for alt detection (thanks, @Dan!) and if all the variables match, and we discover one is trying to abuse Pay-per-Post system or entering giveaways from multiple accounts, all the alts will be banned, the main (1st account detected/registered on Forum) will be warned and the number of months of the penalty period usually depends on that number, 1 alt - 1 month for user not being allowed to participate in giveaways; of course, both accounts not credited for the one where the abuse was intended to happen before getting caught, and if the abuse was 2, 3, 4 accounts - then penalty period is longer, according to that
