Ameya Belvalkar Posted September 9, 2024 #1 Posted September 9, 2024 One of the biggest challenges in live chat rooms is handling repeated questions from users, especially during issues like delayed deposits or withdrawals. When such problems arise, users tend to flood the chat with the same questions, overwhelming moderators who have to constantly respond to the same queries. To solve this, I propose adding a pinned message feature, similar to what YouTube Live Chat offers. This feature allows moderators to pin important updates or FAQs at the top of the chat, ensuring all users see the message as soon as they enter. Why This Feature Is Beneficial: Quick Updates: Pin critical messages about issues like withdrawal delays so users are immediately informed. Reduced Spam: Less repetitive questions, as users can easily see the pinned update. Moderator Efficiency: Moderators can focus on unique concerns instead of repeating answers. YouTube’s live chat already uses this feature effectively to manage large audiences, and it would be equally valuable in chat rooms facing frequent user queries. @AleksandarG Have a look to this suggestion 😄
spaceoddtiddy Posted September 9, 2024 #2 Posted September 9, 2024 I second this. Also for slot hunts. Pinned messages can result in less spamming and avoidance of unnecessary mutes. I've seen a number of chat rooms that already have this in place.
