In a quiet suburban neighborhood, there was a quirky inventor named Maya. She loved creating unusual gadgets, and her latest invention was a toaster that could supposedly travel through time. One morning, she decided to test it out. She set the dial to “Medieval Times” and pressed the lever. To her astonishment, the toaster disappeared in a flash of light! Moments later, it reappeared with a perfectly toasted slice of bread and a small note that read, “Thanks for the toast! - Sir Lancelot.” Maya couldn’t believe her eyes. She laughed and thought, “Well, at least I know it works!” From then on, she enjoyed sending toast to different eras, always receiving amusing notes in return.
