Fairness in Chat Moderation

Hi all,

I wanted to bring up a concern about the moderation practices in Stake’s Korean chat section, where I noticed an inconsistency in handling certain behaviours. Though I was just observing without participating, I saw some moderation actions that felt a bit off.

For example, I noticed ‘goodvibes’ using inappropriate language without any moderator response. But not long after, when ‘jay420snow’ responded with similar language towards ‘GOSLEEP’, he was muted right away. This seemed even more surprising since ‘GOSLEEP’ had actually asked other users to tag him in the chat and use that kind of language towards him, meaning it was done with mutual consent.

I believe we all benefit from consistent, balanced moderation that treats everyone equally. It helps build a positive and fair environment on Stake for everyone involved. I’ll be attaching a screenshot of the situation to add some context to what I observed.

As a Stake user, I just wanted to share this in the spirit of community and hopefully see some improvements that would make things fair for everyone. Thanks for listening, folks.
