williamshennie9 Posted August 5, 2018 #1 Posted August 5, 2018 I recently got an email on a website that I was using (not stake related), saying that someone has logged into my account from a different continent. I almost had a heart attack, as I had money on this website, and now someone knew my password. Luckily the email said that they blocked the attempted login, but this got me thinking, how many of us still don't use 2 factor authentication. My password was very strong, but it turns out, the website had a data breach, so the passwords of affected users were publicly available. The point of this post is to encourage every single user to enable 2FA. It does not matter how good your password is, if someone guesses it, or the website has a data breach, your strong password won't be of much use. Especially on a website like Stake.com you need to have 2FA enabled Hope this helps someone, even if you don't think you are at risk, rather be safe than sorry
