Bitcoin for Coffee (starbucks) Says NO

There seems to be a misunderstand that STABUCKS was going to accept BTC and ALTCOINS for purchases in its establishments .

Really they  are starting a new venture creating a platform, Bakkt, to “convert digital assets like Bitcoin into U.S. dollars, which can be used at Starbucks,” 

Me personally i dont like paying 6 dollars for a coffee so it wouldnt bother me as starbucks is too expensive ..

Would you prefer to pay for your coffee with btc or altcoins.. ???

I love to do a transaction like that. Never tried buying anything with Bitcoin or altcoin directly. I hope it will be available soon in my place. Not for the item but for the experience and to prove to my friends that don't really believe on crypto that it has a value.

Likewise, I want to prove to friends crypto has value! If I had to choose between using an altcoin or BTC to buy coffee, I would use BTC. 😀

I use my Btc to buy things like Starbucks all the time. I put btc on my Bitpay Visa card and use it as a Debit card to buy anything wherever Visa is accepted

Lucky you bitpay isn't available in my country I an trying to get a card too so I can spend the money easily

cant wait till the companies wise up and start accepting btc,, i guess its the confirmation time maybe thats a problem..
not that many people know how to double spend anyway.... but idk

Here in the philippines we can purchase cellphone load using bitcoin. 😊

This would be good for adoption, and as an alternate payment system adoption is key, so I'd view this as good news.

Your headline is misleading however.
