Urgent Issue and Request Regarding Arabic Chat Moderation

I'm reaching out regarding the current situation with moderation in the Arabic chat. I've noticed that the frequent, extended absences of the current moderators—sometimes exceeding four hours—lead to numerous issues that disrupt the chat environment and negatively affect the Arabic community. Additionally, with the recent retirement of moderator saifaljml, only two moderators remain, which may not be sufficient to ensure a safe and policy-compliant chat experience. The lack of immediate oversight allows violations to accumulate unchecked, causing considerable problems that harm the experience for all users. This is an urgent matter that requires immediate attention to prevent further disruption.

I am active in the chat for over 14 hours daily, with the flexibility to work overnight if needed to ensure continuous monitoring. I also bring experience as a moderator on multiple Discord servers, which has equipped me with the skills to handle various situations efficiently. Additionally, I am fluent in all Arabic dialects, enabling me to communicate effectively with users from diverse backgrounds.

For the most of the time we've had only two moderators - saifaljml and sofiomar. We will check all of the above with sofiomar and TracerQAQ, if they think they need help we will start looking for a third moderator for Arabic chat. Anyway, thank you for the reporting it.

Regarding the warning you issued, I’d like some clarity on the reason behind it. I was restricted from posting without moderator approval, leading to a delay of 2 hours and 38 minutes for my messages to appear. This restriction was not due to spamming but rather an attempt to communicate genuine concerns about the state of moderation in the Arabic chat.

There has been ongoing feedback from users about your moderation approach, which I think is worth reflecting on to enhance the community experience overall. Since transparency is crucial, I believe it would be more constructive to leave the topic open and let the community manager review it. This way, they can assess the concerns objectively without prematurely closing the discussion.
