Lillyflow Posted August 12, 2018 #1 Posted August 12, 2018 A Thought Regarding Private Key Storage- And I Need Input Here. Recently my phone screen broke into smitherines. I have not yet repaired it, so of course I cant access 2fa or many wallets. Then a friend told me he had suddenly noticed a huge amount of his ethereum tokens went missing- after he took his laptop to a repair shop. So it made me wonder... a few things. 1, Is crypto safe EVER if you store private keys without encryption ? 2. Is data insecure when being repaired? 3. What then ... do I do to secure stuff?
Kate Posted August 12, 2018 #2 Posted August 12, 2018 Oh damn hopefully you can enable email authentication in the 2fa sites
