Honestly I used to mod a small Twitch channel for a Brazilian streamer and the weirdest part was handling drama at 3am when someone started spamming gross links in Portuguese. You learn real quick that just knowing the language isn't enough, you need to stay calm when the chat goes sideways while everyone else is asleep.

A moderator basically keeps the chat from descending into chaos and makes sure the rules are followed, it is not glamorous work. I guess there is always a need for someone to fill the night shift since that is when most mods are asleep.

3. What do you think are the responsibilities of a moderator?  
A moderator should monitor conversations in real time to ensure they follow the platform's rules and guidelines. They must act quickly to remove or stop inappropriate, offensive, or rule-breaking messages. A moderator should also assist users by answering questions, clarifying doubts, and guiding them on the proper use of the chat. Most importantly, they should help the Portuguese-speaking community continue to grow by maintaining a friendly, respectful, and welcoming environment for both new and existing users.

4. Why do you want to become a moderator?  
I've always wanted to be a moderator because I believe I have the right profile for the role. I'm someone who respects rules and believes they should be followed. Responsibility and fairness are two of the most important values in my life, and I always try to do the right thing. I enjoy helping others and contributing to a positive community.

5. Have you ever been muted or banned?  
Yes, a long time ago. I was muted on Rain because I used a rain farming strategy. I learned from that experience and have had no similar issues since.

6. Do you have any previous moderation or customer support experience?  
Yes. I currently work as Customer Support for another casino. I've also spent a lot of time on the internet since I was 11 years old, and I'm now 22. Because of that, I have a strong understanding of online communities and how people typically behave on the internet.

7. Are you fluent in Portuguese?  
Yes, I am.
