Strange email received

Hi guys.

Yesterday i received an email from stake with title "You received FREE BTC on Stake.com", and in the text: "When you next log into Stake you will not only find a special gift credited to your account, but all accounts who play on our anniversary week will be eligible for giveaways on DISCORD and special streams."

 I logged into stake site without using the link in the email but i can't find any new satoshi here.

Was that email a fake?

Its not like you get instantly its just that you have to join a giveaway

Yes, there was a special email promotion as a part of our Stake birthday celebration. 🎁
Bonus from that promotion was automatically credited to your account. It was added directly to your balance, not sent via tip (that's why you do not see it in your tip log).
You could notice that your balance was increased a bit.
