Shaniqua Posted August 15, 2018 #1 Posted August 15, 2018 So i know this issue does not come up often for people, as im sure very few people get to the limit to how many posts then can make a day... however when it does get to that limit. we are usually kind of caught off guard if you know what i mean. perhaps this happens due to being so in the zone and replying to threads and having in depth conversations etc.... So without realizing we reach our limit, and then at the same time by bad luck, it so happens to be 4 hours left to post BetID in a Challenge/Promotion/Hunt/Giveaway thread... Yet the system wont allow us to post due to we have exceeded our limits!! Ahhh this has happened to me once a long time ago and would hate for it to happen again =P Im not sure if it has happened to you guys or not, but its a horrible feeling. I was just wishing when that happened, that i knew before making my last post, that that post in fact would be my last allowed one for that day until timer reset.... So i guess I am suggesting one of two things... Either have a counter in my account section which says 7/50 posts made today , which would mean i had 43 left for the day if those were the number... (With timer perhaps to when it would reset) or A much simpler solution would be to have a popup box come up and warn the user before making their last post on forum that they have 1 post left and wont be able to post due to limits will be met after the post if continued....(if the numbers are 49/50 posts for that day) , or perhaps it can even warn the user once they have posts left. Anything of the nature would be superb.. I just feel like one day im going to get caught off guard or something again =P as well as my fellow forum contributors : ) Tell me what you think guys, @Dan im curious what you would think as well, i know as a admin/dev to forum, this isnt an issue you would come accross or perhaps even relate to due to no limits to # of posts im sure, as well as the mods and support, but put yourself in our shoes and let me know what comes up for you. =P I hope my suggestions help stake community, your feedback is always appreciated..
