Do you listen to KPop?

The first time I heard about KPop was 2010 when Girls' Generation Genie and Wonder Girls Nobody dominated the top 10 list in the local music channel here in my country. That time I didn't pay attention to their music because I don't understand the lyrics.

Just last year, around October I saw Amber of girl group f(x) in a video of Buzzfeed then I tried listening to their songs and got hooked. Now aside from listening to f(x), I am following Twice, Red Velvet, BlackPink, Day6 and TaeYeon. Though I don't understand the lyrics of their songs at first I can't deny that most of the kpop songs are bop and catchy.

Do you listen to KPop? If yes, which group/idol do you stan?

Of Course , K- Pop has nice tunes to kill the time. My favourite : The BTS .  I haven't heard of any other K- Pop stars/ groups other than them

BTS is one of the famous korean boy group now, I like their song Fire its one of my workout song 😄

As korean who live in Europe, yeah i do. And often europeans bother calling oppa just because kpop. Annoying. btw kpop is life.

No, I don't listen to K-Pop. But I know that there are two girls in my school who are madly in love with BTS. They even created YouTube channels on this topic

Used to hate it, not gonna lie, but when my sister listen k-pop songs especially BTS (from what I've heard, it's one of the best k-pop groups out there) on a loud speaker, dang I started to like it, I mean its just music, why hate it?

Blackpink in your area.. that is  what they always say every time in the intro of their music. new song release "How you like that!" hehe But i really love the solo artist "Iu" her best song for me right now is "Eight" or they call it infinity

seriously though, not really listening to it but it is kinda okay i guess. I am just not a fan of that extreme hype when it comes to the groups and artists. I never understood how you can be so obsessed with another human being, especially if you don't even know them personally. And I am not talking about regular fans here, I talk about the obsessed fanbase which is sadly a regular thing in Kpop.

I listen to Kpop for many reasons.

I like the music. The way the Korean language sounds, as well as the voices of the singers (Jimin and Jungkook from BTS, just wow) and the instrumentals. It just really sounds good and I like to listen to it.

I like the meanings of the songs, too. First Love by Suga from BTS is amazing. I could go on and on listing K-pop songs and their meanings, but I won’t.
