Do you believe in New Year's Resolution?

Who amongst you practice  listing down resolutions or "self checking guideline" for the upcoming new year ?

How many of those "should do" fulfil or  disregarded?

Let us hear your story 😊

I never make New Year’s resolutions, because I firmly believe if it’s something you can comfortably put off changing until the “new year” begins, it’s something that you will easily fall back into the habit of doing soon after. When change is necessary, immediate action must be taken! Im all for making positive changes to one’s lifestyle, but the time is now, don’t wait for the new year, even if it’s this close.

Cheers Ubbey, always a pleasure to chat with you. Hope your 2025 is as wonderful as you are.

The last time I made New Years Resolution was about 30 years ago...

BUT

I have abided by it rigorously..

It was:

NEVER TO MAKE ANOTHER NEW YEARS RESOLUTION !!!!!

Happy New Year Everyone & Good Luck

I completely agree with Lucyporker, I think that if you want to make a to-do list with things you do want to do, you better get to doing them immediately.

I have never made one, but with my terrible discipline I just know that I would not be able to follow it, no matter what, and it would be useless.

However, recently I started a war with some of my bad habits and tried acquiring new good ones, fixing my schedule, reducing time wasted online, etc. It was a sudden decision, but I stand by it and abide by the rules I made,

If you really want to be a better version of yourself, the time is now, and putting it away in a list just confirms your unwillingness to do it right now.

Happy New Year Ubbey and everyone else!
