Adds authenticity to claims otherwise we just become a link in a long chain of people deceived by rumors :). I suggested this because many a times I have seen people having a withdraw stuck in blockchain report the site as SCAM. Or a website is under maintenance for 10 min longer than was mentioned and scared people have created multiple topics on forums searching for equally scared users. Spreading the confusion further.

You are right, if we are active security, not dependent on the website, the risk of losing money will be lower
