So I have just a small suggestion to the Stake team regarding Moderators. I am aware there are 2 types of MODS employed ones and non-employed ones, now non employed ones are considered Player/Mods and have different vip levels according to there player stats, but i noticed today a Player/Mod come in the chat sporting a juicy flame badge after getting a nice win and sharing their bet ID of the winning bet, and congrats to @Zoltanfor the awesome win and being a fantastic Mod always, but is there not a way Stake could impliment something where moderators could toggle on or off there moderator badge if they are a Player/Mod? because it does look very bad and unappealing to a normal player such as myself seeing a mod badge playing and flaming, so while there working or on "duty" they could have there MOD badge on but if there playing they have to turn the "M" off. Just a suggestion to maybe make customers not think shady stuff is going on. I know if i was to walk into an IRL casino and seen a staff member sitting at the tables or playing slots while in uniform i would be pretty upset and suspicious knowing the casino allowed that. Anyways this is not to shit on anyone at all I personally have no issues with mods at all. Thanks for your time in reading all the way threw this, and if there is a possibility of bringing this to higher a up attention that would be a wonderful addition I think. Take care keep up the great work! cheers.

Im aware, but if they had the option to turn on or off the M badge it would look much better for the casino this way while they were playing the M badge would not show but if they are moderating it would be turned on. Now if thats not common sense not sure what is.

As much as you see it a certain way, you have to start realizing that communities, both offline and online, have certain members who are designated specific roles within the community while still retaining their membership. However, their powers remain limited compared to moderators and community managers who are employed by stake and specifically sourced for a role in an office setting.

Maybe a good suggestion would be to have a different badge for player moderators so that other players can distinguish them and not perceive them as players with "perks." Additionally, player moderators don't necessarily work in strict shifts, they're both playing and moderating.

Also, the said moderator you're talking about reached diamond lvl after about 7 to 8 yrs of being here. While it's easy to assume they might be benefiting from their role as a moderator, I doubt their powers extend beyond basic chat moderation.

Just this past week, I witnessed @Zoltan speaking about his losing streak.

You can't really compare this to a real-life casino because it’s not one. It’s like saying there’s a club with a member who's the head but still swimming in the pool. But that example doesn’t work either, because it’s not really the same as an online setting. In the real world, roles are usually more defined, and authority is clearer because people are physically there. But online communities are way more flexible. People can do multiple things at once, moderating, playing, interacting and still be part of the community. The lines between moderating and just participating are much blurrier, so trying to compare it to real-world examples like clubs or casinos doesn’t really fit.

Whilst community moderators go through promotions, as far as i know, player mods have had the same roles since day 1 and that hasn't changed.

I hope that explains!

Everyone commenting on this is clearly reading into it to far, I never once questioned if the said moderator's wins were valid, it's not a matter of how long they have been playing or "volunteering" there time to moderate, It's about a normal customer being able to distinguish between a payer or a moderator, I end my rant obviously you dont get my point, your representing a casino regardless if it is online or in person, so be the face for the company. Looks bad. easy pz just to enable and "on" "off" button for badges. Anyways you can close the topic if you like my rant has no merit.
