Kargai Posted September 3, 2018 #1 Posted September 3, 2018 Recently we had see a lot of new ATM popping here and there in the world and it' seem that Greece will be a great country for people who want to cash back some coins like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum or Dash amon others. Right now there is 5 ATM in Greece, 4 in Athens and 1 in the Thessaloniki region and 3 more will be added soon in the north of the country. Source : https://ethereumworldnews.com/bitcoin-atms-find-love-in-greece-market-to-boom/ Globally in the next 5 years, the global crypto ATM market is expected to grow eightfold which will allow people to access and withdraw or deposit more easily their cryptos. If you are in Greece did you already saw those ATM or even used it ?
wry Posted September 3, 2018 #2 Posted September 3, 2018 I have not been to Greece recently so I cannot answer your direct question, but I think this is a very very good thing. Given the financial crisis Greece had a few years ago, it was at risk of leaving the Euro, Bitcoin and other cryptos could really be a boon to the Greek people. Now if we can only get some into Venezuela and Argentina! 😀
Kargai Posted September 3, 2018 Author #3 Posted September 3, 2018 Yes I believe it's a great news, and 5 ATM is already a good number. For example France have only 2 (that I found) so it's already decent and if they plan more ... could help a lot for usual people to know and use cryptos more easily. Venezuela is also a good country for cryptos with some nice project like this one I spoke about on Primedice : https://forum.primedice.com/topic/33058-kriptomobile-phones-in-caracas-venezuela-with-free-dashcoin/ But indeed ni ATM there is none for those countries, there is some in Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Guatemale, Panama, Mexico, ... but none in Venezuela or Argentina. It will probably be the case soon.
nhoyasim101 Posted September 4, 2018 #4 Posted September 4, 2018 i hope this ATM would be available worldwide, now a days people are massively getting involve with cryptocurrency simply because few local banks are adopted the blockchain.
Kate Posted September 5, 2018 #5 Posted September 5, 2018 Well now there are around 3688 Atm's all over the globe
